Overview

Through the Hearts & Heroes program, Thornton & Grooms will donate $1,000 each month to a different charitable organization (civic or service group, foundation, trust, corporation or association) or individual who has demonstrated a commitment to a cause or issue affecting the lives or quality of life for Detroit-area residents.

Conditions:

• To be eligible for a Hearts & Heroes award, candidates must have a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status.
• Hearts & Heroes candidates can receive a $1,000 award only once in a 12 month period.
• Candidates for Hearts & Heroes award consideration may nominate themselves or be nominated by another party.
• There is no limit to the number of times a candidate can be nominated.
• If your charity is not selected for the award you must nominate them again for consideration.
• All nominations must be submitted using the Hearts & Heroes nomination form.
• Candidates, who have not received a Hearts & Heroes Award within 12 months, are eligible for consideration each month they are nominated.
• By accepting the Hearts & Heroes award, recipients agree to participate in TGI public relations materials/activities, as well as be featured on TGI’s website.
• All nominations and nominees will be reviewed to ensure that nominees exemplify the established criteria.
• All decisions made by the Hearts & Heroes judges are final.
