Here is a List of the 21 Individual Operations We Will Perform on Your Furnace
  1. Inspect and tighten all electrical connections and terminals.
  2. Remove, clean, and adjust ignition/pilot assembly.
  3. Brush and vacuum clean accessible portions of heat exchanger.
  4. Inspect heat exchanger for cracks, rusting, or problem areas.
  5. Perform carbon monoxide test on furnace supply air.
  6. Vacuum out blower compartment, return airdrop, and surrounding area (no duct cleaning).
  7. Inspect the flue assembly and test flue gas drafting mechanism.
  8. Test and inspect all furnace safety controls.
  9. Test, record, and adjust gas pressure
  10. Replace or clean standard air filters (filter extra charge).
  1. Vacuum clean blower motor, drive mechanism, and fan assembly in place.
  2. Lubricate all fan motors and moving parts.
  3. Measure and adjust blower for proper airflow.
  4. Adjust all dampers and set proper blower speed(s).
  5. Clean, level, test and calibrate thermostat.
  6. Measure and record heating system output.
  7. Measure and record electrical voltage, amperage, and component resistance.
  8. Inspect and test all system transformers, relays, contractors, and controls.
  9. Repair minor air leaks in plenum and return airdrop.
  10. Run furnace through complete heating cycle.
  11. Advise customer on other ways to reduce energy consumption, improve safety, and enhance comfort.
